Elevate your classic Chevy II Nova’s performance with the G-Comp Solid Axle Rear Suspension Kit. Engineered for the 1962-1967 models, this kit replaces restrictive leaf springs with a modern coilover shock system for a dramatically improved ride and handling. Designed to enhance chassis stiffness without requiring a roll cage, it’s perfect for street, autocross, or road course use.
The system features robust .120″ wall steel tubing for the chassis brace, precisely located off the leaf spring mounts. A panhard bar effectively manages lateral rear-end movement, offering a clean and simple solution for alignment. This kit allows for a 2-inch ride height reduction, easily adjustable via the coilovers, and includes eccentric cam trailing arm mounts for precise wheel alignment and superior forward bite.
Designed to turn your Nova into a true ‘G-machine,’ this kit offers three positions on the panhard bar mounts for quick roll center adjustments. The chassis brace incorporates pass-through tubes for brake lines and wiring, plus a dropped saddle for driveshaft clearance, tying directly into the front of the car for maximum rigidity. It complements the G-Comp front-end kit and works with stock or mini-tubbed wheel wells, accommodating up to 8″ wide wheels in stock wells.
This G-Comp rear suspension kit is a complete assembly, including all necessary hardware and brackets to mount truck arms and the panhard bar to your existing rear end. Recommended for vehicles up to 500 horsepower, it has been proven on the autocross circuit, even contributing to a GoodGuys Autocross Championship. Achieve race-car inspired performance with a significantly improved streetable ride.
